1 ripe banana
1 teacup of low fat natural/ greek-style yogurt
1/2 teacup semi-skimmed milk

Fresh Fruit Smoothie RecipiesHow to make it:

This is the really taxing part!

Chuck all the ingredients in the blender and whizz away.

It takes about 30 seconds to a minute depending on how ripe the fruit is.

It's not a bad idea to chop the strawberries in half and slice the banana beforehand.

If you can't cope with seeds in the fruit, you can always strain the smoothie through a sieve before you serve it, though this does make more mess!

1 teacup porridge oats
1 tbsp almonds (optional)
5 dried apricots
1 teacup of low-fat natural/greek yogurt
1/2 teacup semi-skimmed milkFresh Fruit Smoothie

This is a brilliant smoothie for those who want a healthy, but very filling breakfast.

How to make it: -

Place everything in the blender and combine for about 3 mins until smooth. Add milk if too thick and add more oats to thicken it up.

Very easy and you can also add nuts to this smoothie to pad it out.

Word of advice: make sure you clean the blender straight after making this one, or the mixture will turn into concrete and weld itself to the blades, making it very hard to clean them.

Here are a couple of popular recipes for those who like to use slightly more weird and wonderful ingredients.

***Vitamin, mineral and calcium smoothie***

2 Bananas
1 Table Spoon of Tahini straight from the jar
1 Organic Kale Leaf (without stems)
1 Tbsp of Spirulina or other super food
2-3 Cups of Ice
